Insight Technology Inc. has landed a $34 million deal to develop and supply night vision goggles for the US army in Afghanistan.  Under the deal, the company will develop goggles that utilise both of the major technologies involved in night vision glasses – thermal imaging and image intensification. 

Night vision goggles play a critical role in the allied armies fight against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
